The next chapter!

I’m starting to write the next chapter of my career and I’ve chosen a bit of a different route. While I’m still going to be in the software industry, I’m going to step away from building software and move into building people. I’m starting a professional coaching service to help software developers improve their daily experiences at work and grow their careers. I’m also literally writing this next chapter by starting a newsletter to support growing my coaching business.

I’ve had a wonderful career building software over the last 20+ years in multiple industries, and countless products. My industry experience covers education, healthcare, insurance, finance, and many others. Having worked on teams as small as three and as large as a thousand engineers, I’ve gained powerful insight and a wealth of knowledge on how to navigate the developer experience.

Here are a few things I’ll be doing:

• One-on-One professional coaching
• Newsletter providing coaching, insights, and industry relevant topics
• Interviewing industry professionals about their coaching experience and writing profiles about them
• Blog articles that provide coaching, guidance, and developer experience insights
